Kumo no Ito

Kandata is a coldhearted criminal that, while being punished in Hell because of his misdeeds, is seen by the Buddha Shakyamuni. Yoshihide is a good painter in the land dominated by Horikawa, a tyrant. Offered a commission to paint the”Buddhist Hell” from the lord, Yoshihide declines, as he can’t paint anything that he hasn’t seen himself. In an endeavor to create Yoshihide know the size of his petition, the lord tortures his topics to give inspiration to the artist, descending his domain into utter darkness and despair.
