After a shapeshifting demon having a desire for human flesh, called”youma,” arrives in Raki’s village, a single woman with silver eyes walks to city with just a sword upon her spine. She’s a”Claymore,” a being fabricated as half-human and half-youma, for the express purpose of exterminating those critters. Following Raki’s family is murdered, the Claymore saves his lifetime, but he’s then transitioned from his property. With nowhere else to go, Raki finds out the Claymore, called Clare, also decides to follow her on her journeys.Since the pair travel from city to city, beating youma across the way, more about Clare’s business and her fellow warriors comes to light. With each town cleansed and each fanatic destroyed, they come nearer to the youma where Clare has sought vengeance ever because she opted to be a Claymore.
