Within the city of Romdo lies one of the last human civilizations on Earth. Thousands of years back, a worldwide ecological disaster doomed the world; now, life outside these domes is practically impossible. To expedite humanity’s recovery,”AutoReivs,” humanoid-like robots, are made to assist people in their daily lives. But, AutoReivs have started contracting an enigmatic disease known as the”Cogito Virus” which grants them self-awareness. Re-l Mayer, granddaughter of all Romdo’s ruler, is assigned to investigate this phenomenon alongside her AutoReiv spouse Iggy.What started to be a simple and routine investigation quickly spirals into a conspiracy as Re-l is confronted by humankind’s darkest sins.Elsewhere in Romdo, an AutoReiv specialist by the name of Vincent Law must also face his demons when surreal events start happening. Re-l, Iggy, Vincent, and the kid AutoReiv called Pino, will form an improbable faction as they fight to discover Romdo’s mysteries and ultimately, discover the real aim of these mythical beings called”Proxies.”
