Hibike! Euphonium anime
After swearing off audio because of an episode in the middle school regional theater group contest, euphonist Kumiko Oumae goes high school hoping for a new start. As destiny would have it, she ends up being surrounded by people having an interest at the high school brass ring. Kumiko finds the inspiration she wants to make music with the support of her bandmates, a few of whom are fresh such as newcomer tubist Hazuki Katou; veteran contrabassist Sapphire Kawashima; and ring vice president and fellow euphonist Asuka Tanaka. Nonetheless, in the group itself, insanity reigns supreme. Despite their aim to meet the requirements for the national group contest, as they now are, only competing in the neighborhood festival is going to be a challenge–unless the brand new group adviser Noboru Taki does something about it. In the studio that revived Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu, Kyoto Animation’s Hibike! Euphonium is a brand new and musical spin on the slice-of-life staple that’s the high school student’s fight to manage their previous, find love, and realize their own dreams and ambitions.
