All of a sudden, they came: parasitic aliens who descended upon Earth and immediately infiltrated humankind by burrowing into the minds of vulnerable goals. These insatiable beings get whole control of their server and can develop into an assortment of forms to be able to feed on prey.Sixteen-year-old high school student Shinichi Izumi falls prey to these parasites, but it neglects to take more than his mind, end up in his right hand rather. Not able to relocate, the parasite, currently called Migi, has no option but to rely on Shinichi so as to remain alive. Therefore, the set is forced into an uneasy coexistence and has to defend themselves from aggressive parasites which expect to eliminate this new danger to their own species.
