Moonless Dawn follows three junior high schoolers in the middle of these struggles. Kou is lost in life without a sense of direction or purpose, Yuka fills the void in her life by making friends with strangers who she meets on the streets while Saki is in the midst of never endless fights with her parents, and unable to feel at ease at home or at school. In the case of Yuka and Saki the music of their favourite artists can be a refreshing escape from their daily livesuntil they are unable to access it. With no music to lose their minds in, the duo look for the artist and explore the world beyond music. Inspired by music from LOWPOPLTD Harika Abe’s dark serene, peaceful and dreamy debut album is a stark contrast of young innocence and the stark realities of life.
