Shinichi Chiaki is a first class musician whose fantasy is to play one of the elites in Europe. Coming out of a distinguished family, he’s an notorious perfectionist–not only is he extremely critical for himself, but of the others too. The one thing stopping Shinichi from departing for Europe is that his fear of flying. Consequently, he is grounded in Japan.Throughout his fourth year in Japan’s top music college, Shinichi occurs to fulfill Megumi Noda or, as she describes himself, Nodame. On the outside, she appears to be a sexiest woman with no direction in life. But when Shinichi hears Nodame play the piano for the first time, he’s in awe of the type of music she produces.
