For high school pupil Tanaka, the action of being listless is a means of life. Known for his inattentiveness and ability to fall asleep anywhere, Tanaka prays that every day is going to be as uneventful as the past, attempting to maintain his idle lifestyle however he could by avoiding situations which require him to apply himself. Together with his trusted buddy Oota who assists him with tasks that he is not able to achieve, the lethargic adolescent always deals with events which stop him from experiencing the silent and serene times that he longs for.
