The World Ends with You The Animation anime
A boy named Neku Sakuraba discovers himself in Shibuya’s bustling city holding two black pins. These pins allow him to read minds and communicate with others. These pins give him the ability see the “Noise”, hostile creatures that can “erase” people. Neku discovers that he is trapped in the city and receives a message about a mission that will still erase him if he fails.
Neku is trying to stop a Noise attack and meets Shiki Misaki, a young girl who asks him to make a partnership agreement with her to defeat the monsters. Shiki explains to Neku that they have become “Players” in the “Reaper’s Game”, which is a seven-day event with a different mission each day.
Neku and Shiki struggle to survive every day, so they meet other Players, Reapers, fight stronger Noise, and discover the truth behind this mystery.
