Makoto Kowata is just one such apprentice witch who leaves her parents’ house in Yokohama in pursuit of wisdom and training. Together with her companion Chito, a black cat familiar, they embark upon a trip to Aomori, a region preferred by witches because of its abundance of disposition and nature with magical. They start their new life by living with Makoto’s second cousins, Kei Kuramoto along with his small sister Chinatsu.While Makoto might appear to be attending high school just like any other adolescent, her whimsical and bizarre involvement with witchcraft sets her apart from the others her age.
