Natsume Tomoharu, a high school student, is normal in all aspects except for one: Misao’s ghost is following him.
Tomoharu moves into the house of his brother and plans to live his normal life. However, he is left with a locked briefcase that has no instructions. He initially plans to put it away, but soon multiple people enter his home looking for the briefcase. Tomoharu, Misao and others attempt to escape from the briefcase despite not knowing its purpose.
Tomoharu continues to explore the mysteries of the briefcase and the connections it makes to Misao. He also tries to understand why the briefcase has the ability to transform the world.
