Fumiya Tomozaki, Japan’s top player in the online game Attack Families (also known as “Tackfam”) is Fumiya Tomozaki. He is unable to socially and interact well with others despite being a highly respected title. He is unable to make friends and blames the complicated mechanics and unfair rules of his life for not having any. This forces him to quit and declare himself to be a “bottom-tier” character in this “game.”
Fumiya meets a top-tier Tackfam player and is stunned to learn the true identity of the player–Aoi Hinami, a popular, intelligent, and sociable classmate that is completely different from himself. Aoi is shocked at Fumiya’s ineptness at Tackfam and decides to help him succeed in the game she considers the most important. Fumiya starts to climb the ranks in the glorious game called life, despite the painful ordeals that come with social interactions and relationships.
