Dog Days is held in Flonyard, an alternate world inhabited by creatures who look like humans but have the ears and tails specific to animals. The Galette Leo Knights’ feline force has attacked the Republic of Biscotti. It is a group of dog-like citizens. Princess Millhiore summons an angel from another planet to help save Biscotti. Cinque Izumi is a junior high student from Earth.
Cinque agrees to help Biscotti and retrieves a sacred weapon, the Palladion. He then prepares for war. Flonyard wars are conducted without any casualties. They are more like sports competitions, with the aim of raising money for the kingdoms participating. Cinque succeeds in his role of Biscotti’s champion but discovers that summoned champions cannot be returned home. Scientists of Biscotti will try to find a way to allow Cinque to return home. However, until then, they must continue to serve Princess Millhiore as Biscotti’s hero.
