Farewell, My Dear Cramer anime
The reputation of Japanese women’s soccer has slowly declined over the years. Despite this grim situation, there are still schools that have teams trying to preserve the sport. There are hints of hope, however.
Nozomi Onda, a middle schooler who played in the boys’ soccer team, is a prodigious player. She believes that playing soccer with other girls would only make her feel inferior. She only wants to do her best against worthy opponents. Sumire Suou, meanwhile, is a promising rookie with extraordinary talent. Her talent is hindered by a team who cannot keep up.
Onda was convinced by her ex-coach to join a girls soccer club by Suou. Suou is accompanied by Midori Soshizaki, her friend and rival. They become friends and are members of the Warabi Seinan high school’s girls soccer team. Both girls are able to show their full potential in this new field. Together with their teammates, their goals, steps, kicks and kicks will win them victory.
