Macross Frontier anime
After a devastating war against the Zentradi, humanity has managed to escape towards the center of our galaxy aboard a fleet colonial ships called the Macross Frontier. Life on Macross Frontier continues as normal, with the threat of extraterrestrials gradually fading away.
Alto Saotome, a mecha pilot trainee, and his fellows are practicing an accompanying routine to Sheryl Nome, a famous singer who has arrived in Macross Frontier to perform at a concert. The performance is interrupted by the sudden appearance of the Vajra, a biomechanical alien race known as the Vajra. They break through the protective perimeter and crash-land near the concert venue. This causes chaos in the city. Alto saves Ranka Lee, a young girl, as the Vajra attack concertgoers. The Strategic Military Services program noted Alto’s combat skills, which led to his recruitment for the new alien threat.
