Shizuku Mizutani has apathy towards her classmates and only cares about her grades. Her cold outlook on life changes when she meets Haru Yashida, a violent troublemaker. He stopped attending classes after getting into an argument early in the school year. He isn’t much different to her. He too doesn’t know anything about human nature and has no friends. Surprised by Shizuku, he declares that he will become his friend. He immediately confesses to his feelings towards Shizuku upon meeting her.
Shizuku struggles to understand Haru’s relationship because she has very few friends. Slowly, however, their friendship develops and Shizuku discovers more about Haru than violence. He begins to feel for her, but she isn’t sure what kind of emotions it is. Shizuku and Haru discover the truth of their relationship.
