Nobody could have foreseen the impact it would have on Japan at the start of World War III. Although it was officially over fifty years ago, the battles continue. Blackspots were large, mysterious, and filled with the contaminated remains of cities and villages. The people inside were trapped to stop the spread of contamination. Their powers began to change, whether they were shapeshifters, pyromancers or controllers of gravity. They became known as the Needless.
Adam Blade, one of these Needless, is a remarkable healer and has incredible strength. He and his allies must work together against Simeon, a vicious research group that seeks to bring peace to war-torn Japan.
