Hikari Hanazono is a person who can do things that ordinary people cannot. She believed that no one could beat her as a child. But then she met Kei Takishima. Hikari thought she would win and challenged him to a match. However, things did not go according to plan. She lost twice and lost each time she challenged him. She has been determined to beat Kei in all aspects of her life, from academics to athletics.
Hikari enrols at the same school as Kei–-Hakusenkan to achieve her goal. This prestigious school is for the rich. They are the school’s top two students and seven of the best in Special A class.
Although Hikari may treat Kei like a rival, it is not obvious that he has hidden feelings for her. The members of Special A work together to deal with friendship, competition, and a little bit of love.
