Oh Hyun Jae used to be the leading criminal investigator. He was able to solve many cases using his talents, but one day, an explosion due to a serial murderer caused the death of his wife. Following the tragic accident, Oh Hyun Jae vanished and is now living in solitude. While he is in seclusion, Cha Soo Young is an officer of the police in the rural area. She is gifted with a particular capability that lets her remember precisely every detail she has seen. Because of this capacity, she is chosen as an untrained detective who will work together with Oh Hyun Jae informally. Together, they solve crimes and find out the truth about what’s known as the Peppermint Killer, the resurfaced serial killer who killed Hyun Jae’s wife five years ago.
