The Place Promised in Our Early Days movie
Hiroki Fujisawa and Takuya Shirakawa harbor respect for two items in their life: their classmate Sayuri Sawatari along with the enormous Ezo Tower that stands boundlessly throughout the Tsugaru Strait. Fascinated by the infinite structure beyond their own reach, Hiroki and Takuya start constructing an aeroplane out of a diminished drone that they found –naming it that the Bella Ciela–to meet their fantasy of one day hitting the sky-scraping surface of their tower. Later joined by the woman that they love, Hiroki and Takuya promise Sayuri to fly to the apparently otherworldly top collectively. However, Japan has endured a North-South partitioning which has fueled battle close to the bottom of this tower, which marks the boundary between the America-controlled Southern islands along with the Northern lands inhabited by the Soviet Union. Unbeknownst to her, she fell victim to a sleeping disorder that left her comatose for the last 3 decades. Even though Hiroki and Takuya afterwards learn about Sayuri’s state, they also find the woman’s unconscious state is strangely linked to the identical tower that the trio had sworn to beat collectively.
