Cha Kang Jin is the son of barmaid Cha Chun Hee. Cha Kang Jin’s life is not easy as his family fights, and he is forced to watch his peers harass his mother, but there is nothing he can do to stop the violence. He was introduced to Han Ji Wan when they were teenagers, but they couldn’t remain in contact because Ji Wan ran away. He is reunited with Ji Wan 8 years later and is at her wedding ceremony to Park Tae Joon. But he’s devastated because Ji Wan pretends to not recall him in any way.
