Reeling from his devastating defeat in the Grand Prix Finale, Yuuri Katsuki, after Japan’s most promising figure skater, returns to his family home to check his choices later on. At age 23, Yuuri’s window for achievement at skating is closing fast, and also his love of pork cutlets and capability for gaining weight aren’t helping either.But, Yuuri finds himself in the spotlight once a video of him doing a regular formerly implemented by five-time world winner, Victor Nikiforov, abruptly goes viral. In reality, Victor himself suddenly appears at Yuuri’s home and offers to be his mentor. As one of the greatest supporters, Yuuri eagerly takes, kicking off his trip to make it back on the world stage.
