2.43: Seiin Koukou Danshi Volley-bu anime
After an incident with his school’s volleyball team, Kimichika Haijima, a genius setter, returns to Fukui. He is reunited with Yuni Kuroba (a Monshiro Middle School Boys’ volleyball Team member), who is not aware of his talents. Haijima is impressed by Kuroba’s skills and decides to form a new volleyball club with Kuroba as their ace. Kuroba collapses under pressure at the prefectural tournament. This causes the Monshiro volleyball team to lose. Kuroba quits the team after the loss caused a rift with Haijima.
As students at Seiin High school, Haijima & Kuroba are back together on the same volleyball team. Haijima learns from his mistakes and helps Kuroba overcome performance anxiety. The team will win the prefectural championship. Seiin hopes to win the prefecturals with the support of Shinichirou Oda, the team captain, and Misao Aoki vice captain. This will allow them to become Fukui’s representatives in the Spring Tournament. They must beat Fukuho Technical High School to do so. Are they destined to repeat the losing ways of Haijima?
