Kou Ichinomiya, the son of a wealthy businessman, believes in his elite status. He is determined not to become indebted to anyone. However, one day after a fight with mischievous children on Arakawa Bridge, Kou Ichinomiya falls into the river below. He is fortunate that a passerby was there to rescue him. But now, he owes this stranger his life!
Kou is furious and insists that she pay her back. But this could be the most outrageous business deal Kou has ever made. Nino, a homeless woman known as Nino, lives in a cardboard box beneath the bridge. She is a quiet, tracksuit-wearing stranger who wants to love. He accepts Kou as her boyfriend and is forced to leave his home to start a new life below the bridge.
