In the not too distant future, humanity faces impending destruction from mysterious animals called”Huge.” The planet wages war against the Enormous, and grows the anti-weapon”CHARM” (Counter Huge Arms) by blending magic and science. CHARM functions more efficiently when used by teenaged girls, and people using the weapons are respected as”Lilies.” The Lilies are educated in military academies known as”Gardens,” which also function as foundations to safeguard and advise individuals. This is really a story about women that wish to become Lilies so that they can shield Earth.
