A long time prior to getting the famed captain of this research Corps, a youthful Levi struggles to live at the capital’s garbage dump, the Underground. Since the manager of his own unlawful operation, Levi tries to get with stricter earnings while aided by fellow offenders, Isabel Magnolia and Farlan Church. With very little expectation for the long run, Levi takes a bargain in the anti-expedition faction leader Nicholas Lobov, that maintains that the trio citizenship aboveground if they’re ready to successfully assassinate Erwin Smith, a group leader of this research Corps.Since Levi and Erwin cross paths, Erwin admits Levi’s agility and ability also gives him the choice to become part of their expedition group, or be switched into the Military Police, to atone for his crimes. Now nearer to the guy they’re tasked with kill, the team intends to finish their assignment and rescue themselves out of a grim death in the dim recesses in their previous residence. But they are just about to learn the surface world isn’t quite as liberating as they had believed and that occasionally, liberty can come at a hefty cost.
