Shoutarou Futaba was a sports enthusiast from childhood. However, he never made it beyond the role of a benchwarmer for his middle school baseball team. He decides to go watch rhythmic gymnastics on a whim after noticing a group gymnasts in the park. Despite displaying an exciting performance at the competition Shoushukan High School’s Rhythmic Gymnastics Club placed second-to-last because they did not have a full six-man roster.
Shoutarou is captivated by the demonstration of skill and decides to enroll in Shoushukan with the hope of joining the team, despite not having any previous experience in the sport. He is recruited by the club along with Ryouya Mizuto, a prodigal gymnast and runner-up at a junior competition.
The team now has a complete six-man roster and is ready to compete at the Inter-High tournament. Shoutarou must master rhythmic gymnastics and work with his new teammates to achieve this goal.
