Arato Endou, his faithful hIE Lacia, have reunited once more to prove that artificial intelligence can be safely shut down, regardless of how advanced it may be.
The pair must fight off all enemies as they descend into the holding area to confront Higgins (Lacia’s AI creator). Snowdrop, an hIE that is determined to devour Higgins, as well as Methode, who seeks revenge against Lacia, are among them. All of the world’s super-intelligent artificial intelligences unanimously decided to end Lacia because they consider her a danger to humanity.
Arato and Lacia have limited time and all odds against them. Will they be able to unite in a peaceful society where humans can coexist peacefully with hIEs?
