The covetous samurai god Daigo Kagemitsu’s property is dying, and he’d do anything for power, even renounce Buddha and also make a pact with elephants. His prayers are answered by 12 allies that give him the power he needs by helping his prefecture’s expansion, but at a cost. This youngster is disposed of at a river and abandoned. However, as fortune would have it, he’s rescued by means of a medicine man who supplies him with prosthetics and weapons, allowing for him to live and fend for himself. The boy lives and develops, and even though he can’t see, hear, or feel anything, he should conquer the demons who took him sacrifice. With the passing of every one, he regains part of himself which is . For several years he stinks, until one day an orphan boy, Dororo, befriends him. The unlikely set of castaways now struggle for their survival as well as humankind at an unforgiving, demon-infested world.
