Ghost in the Shell 2 movie
Together with Major Motoko Kusanagi missing, Section 9’s Batou is assigned to investigate a series of gruesome murders–apparently at the hands of faulty gynoids, or gender robots. However, every time a faulty gynoid leaves Batou a mysterious message, he starts to question the reason for the malfunctions. Suspicions of politically motivated murder along with also an illegal”ghost” quickly harvest drawing Batou and his partner Togusa to a perilous web of conspiracy.As their investigation continues, the line between machine and man continues to blur, and truth and understanding become equal. Confronting odd and dangerous foes, Batou and Togusa research a futuristic world full of machines and living dolls but completely devoid of humanity.
