Humanity was pushed to the edge of extinction after the development of man-eating creatures called”Aragami” that exude an immunity to traditional weaponry. They ravaged the land, consuming nearly everything in their path and leaving nothing in their aftermath. To fight them, a company called Fenrir was shaped as a last-ditch attempt to save humankind through using”God Eaters”–particular individuals infused with Oracle cells, letting them wield the God Arc, the only known weapon capable of murdering an Aragami. 1 such God Eater is Lenka Utsugi, a New-Type whose God Arc chooses the kind of both weapon and blade. But as one of Fenrir’s best weapons, Lenka should master his God Arc if he is to meet his need for wiping out the Aragami once and for all. The critters continue to be born en masse while the remnants of humanity struggle to survive through the evening. Just God Eaters stand between the Aragami and total and complete annihilation of the human race.
