Hadashi no Gen 2 movie
Three decades have passed since the bombing of Hiroshima and Gen is presently a fourth-grader. Hiroshima remains a ruin, and Gen must scrounge for scrap metal to keep his remaining family , but commerce has returned into the property. As his mother slowly grows sick from radiation illness, Gen and Ryuta interrupts a bunch of orphans headed by a tough-nosed older kid and including a woman who bears ugly burn scars in the day of the bomb. An older man suffering from depression can be drawn to the group because they come together to encourage one another and form a family. Truth remains unpleasant, however, since many orphans still die lonely deaths along with the grim reminders of what occurred linger everywhere.
