Chika Homura starts her high school career with one goal in mind: To become a “cute girl”. Chika, who was a volleyball star, quits the team and decides to play flute in the Wind Instrument Club at her school. She believes it is the most feminine and delicate instrument. Chika is reunited with Haruta Kamijou, her childhood friend. Unfortunately, Chika is not deceived by Haruta’s efforts to be more endearing. However, this doesn’t stop Chika from falling for Shinjirou Kusakabe, her band instructor. Chika’s high school experience is not going according to plan.
