Lee Shin is a student at university majoring in modern and contemporary music. He is the singer of “The Stupid”, and also plays the guitar. Although he is well-known for his beautiful looks and strong passion for music, he is actually a cold person with no interest in other things. He has no plans or dreams for the future and is not interested in any non-music related activities. Shin initially liked a dance professor at university. But, this all changes when Shin meets Lee Kyu Won. Lee Kyu Won, a bright and outgoing student, was born to a distinguished family. He is studying traditional Korean instruments, including the gayageum.
Lee Dong Gun, Kyu Won’s grandfather, is one the best traditional musicians his generation. His greatest wish is for his grand-daughter to be a prodigy in traditional music within ten years. Kyu Won, determined to live up her grandfather’s expectations and become a university student with no knowledge other than traditional music, puts herself through training. Kyu Won was forced to attend the concert because her friends love “The Stupid”. She was captivated by Lee Shin’s live performance and immediately fell in love with him.
