After finishing their work in Yorknew City, Leorio Paldiknight and Kurapika look into the rumored sightings a boy with scarlet-red eyes. They believe that this individual is a member the now extinct Kurta Clan. Kurapika is determined to find another survivor from the clan, but he loses both of his eyes to an attack by someone who appears to be his childhood friend.Kurapika is treated by Leorio, who then sends Killua Zoldyck and Gon Freecss to retrieve Kurapika’s eyes. Their search leads them to the Phantom Troupe, the notorious group of thieves who murdered the entire Kurta Clan five year ago. They are known for their scarlet-colored eyes that change color in rage.
