The protagonist: a bookworm who’s deeply isolated from the planet he resides inside. He does not have any curiosity about other people and is strongly convinced that nobody has any curiosity about him . He shortly explains it as a key journal belonging to his favorite, bubbly classmate Sakura Yamauchi. She then confides in him concerning the pancreatic disorder she’s suffering from and her period is finite. Just her family knows about her terminal illness; maybe not her best friends know. In spite of this revelation, he reveals zero sympathy for her plight, but caught in the waves of Sakura’s persistent buoyancy, he finally admits to accompanying her to the remaining days.Since the set of polar opposites interact, their relationship strengthens, interweaving through their decisions created with every passing day. Her apparent nonchalance and unpredictability interrupts the protagonist’s impassive stream of life, slowly opening his heart since he finds and embraces the real significance of living.
