Idoly Pride anime
VENUS Program, an impartial idol scoring system, uses AI and data to rank candidates according to a variety of factors. These algorithms are used to determine the rising stars in the idol industry. The annual VENUS Grand prix is held using these algorithms. Mana Nagase is the most outstanding idol among all those who have participated in the VENUS Grand Prix. Unfortunately, her career was ended abruptly by a tragic accident on the final day of the tournament.
Kouhei Makino was Mana’s former manager and continues his career with Hoshimi Productions many years after her passing. He accepts interviews from a variety of girls in order to create a new group of idols. Unexpectedly, Kotono Nagase is one of the interviewes. She is Mana’s younger sibling and is trying to continue her sister’s legacy, under the guidance of her former advisor. Sakura Kawasaki auditions, whose voice sounds astonishingly like Mana’s.
Both Sakura and Kotono pass the evaluations. They join a group consisting of eight other young girls. The 10 members live in a shared dormitory and work together to find out more about how to be a team. The girls are united by an ambitious goal and work together to reach the top in the difficult world of idols.
