Inuyasha, and his company, have finally defeated Naraku. Each one begins to follow their own paths. Sango will go in search of her younger brother Kohaku. Miroku will return to his home. Inuyasha and Kagome, along with Shippou, will go to collect the remaining Shikon fragments. This peace does not last. Soon after, the full moon rises and keeps rising every night, bringing with it the threat of danger. Kagura, Kanna, and Kaguya set out to find a mirror. Inside is Kaguya, the ruler of the eternal nights. They must collect five items and drop them in the five lakes of Fuji to set her free. Inuyasha, and all the other victims, are at greatest risk when they set her free. This new threat is now on the horizon.
