Shuichiro Kiriyama is back in Japan after having worked with his employer, the FBI [in America over 12 years. He is back working for his Statute of Limitation Management Department. Since the statutes of limitation for serious crimes, such as murder, was abolished in April 2010. The Limitation Management Department has become an easy and unimportant task. For fun, Shuichiro Kiriyama begins to examine the cases that remain unsolved and will soon be abandoned because of the expiration date time of limitations. Shizuka Mikazuki joins him time.
