Brought up in a conflict-ridden surroundings, kid soldier Jonathan”Jonah” Mar hates weapons and people who treat them. However, if Koko Hekmatyar, an international arms dealer, takes on Jonah among her bodyguards, he has little choice but to take up arms. In addition to Koko’s additional bodyguards, composed largely of former special-ops soldiers, Jonah has become tasked with protecting Koko and her excessively idealistic objective of world peace in the innumerable dangers which come out of her line of work. Jormungand follows Koko, Jonah, and the remainder of team as they travel the globe selling weapons beneath the global delivery company HCLI. Since Koko’s job is prohibited under international law, she’s compelled to continuously sidestep both the local and global governments while doing business using arenas, personal militaries, and militias. Together with the CIA constantly hot on her course, and assassins about each corner, both Jonah and the team should protect Koko and her fantasy of world peace with their own lives or die trying.
