Joshiraku follows the discussions of five rakugo storyteller women relating the strange things that occur to them daily. Their comedic and satirical conversing covers all types of topics, from unnecessary observations of normal life, to politics, manga, and much more. Each woman has something fresh to increase the conversation, along with the discourse never finishes at precisely the exact same place it started.Every one of those rakugo women has their own distinct character, together with all the lively but immature Marii Buratei; the most apparently adorable Kigurumi Haroukitei; the most inherently blessed and carefree Tetora Bouhatei; the most serene and barbarous Gankyou Kuurubiyuutei; along with the bleak and shaky Kukuru Anrakutei. These women –and their mystical friend in a wrestling mask–provide their observations into the crowd, possibly backstage in the rakugo theatre or at various renowned places around Tokyo.
