At the blink of an eye, thirty million bemused Japanese players are whisked in their regular lives to the world of their most popular MMORPG, Elder Tale, following the match’s newest upgrade –not able to log out. One of them is the awkward faculty student Shiroe, whose shock and confusion lasts just a minute as, a veteran of this match, he puts out to explore the limitations of his new truth.Shiroe must learn how to stay within this new universe, leading the others and negotiating with all the NPC”natives” to be able to bring equilibrium to the digital city of Akihabara. He’s joined by his unlucky friend Naotsugu, with logged for the very first time in years just to find himself trapped, and Akatsuki, a miniature but ferocious assassin who tags Shiroe as her master.
