Lovers of the Red Sky korean drama
In the Joseon Dynasty (1392-1910), one young woman called Hong Chun Ki is a painter, which is a rare thing for Joseon Korea, where Confucian principles dictate that these activities are not suitable for women. The girl was born blind, but somehow was able to gain an ability to see. She has now been accepted into the most prestigious art school in the country. In one day she runs into Ha Ram, an astrologer with a fate that is opposite to her own: Though he was born blind however, he lost his vision due to a mishap in his childhood. However, he’s possessing an amazing ability: despite the fact that he’s blind, he is able to see the future through the motion of the sky in the evening. Hong Chun Ki falls for Ha Ram, and is determined to win Ha Ram’s heart. However, the pair is drawn into the affairs at the palace, especially those that involve two princes, the spirited prince Yang Myung and the cruel and scheming Prince Joo Hyang – a man who longs to be the next Joseon King.
