Majisuka Gakuen Japanese drama
Two students who transferred, Atsuko Maeda and Onizuka Daruma, attended the school for girls that is all-girls Majisuka Gakuen. At the school, fighting and violence is common among Yankee students. Daruma is loud and a troublemaker. Daruma caused a stir when she first was admitted to the school. She took victory in her first battle, but was then beaten by another gang soon after. Contrary to Daruma’s confident but powerless behavior, Maeda, who is truely a strong girl despite her shy nature, spotted Daruma she was beat in the face by Team Hormon right before her. “Majisuka,” as Maeda calls it, was the phrase used “Majisuka?” (means do you really mean it?) immediately rekindled her inner strength and helped her win the battle against Daruma’s adversaries easily. This caused an enormous splash in the school, and the announcement even reached the most powerful fighters group in the world, Rappapa. Afterward, Daruma acknowledged Maeda as her boss, and as it turned out, the bond among the girls started to blossom as did their fights with other students at their school.
