From the remote past, a war between demons and humans caused widespread chaos and bloodshed. To put a stop to this seemingly endless conflict, Demon King Anos Voldigoad voluntarily sacrificed his lifehoping to be reborn at a calm future. In preparation to their king’s return, the demon race established the Demon King Academy, an elite institution tasked with discovering Anos’ individuality when he reawakens. He also reincarnates two millennia afterwards, but to his surprise, he soon learns the degree of magic in the entire world has radically waned through his absence. Additionally, when he glanced in the academy to recover his rightful name, he finds out that demonkind recalls him otherwise. His character, his deeds, as well as his heritage are falsified–concealed under the title of an impostor. This”lack” of shared knowledge renders him that the academy’s outlier–a misfit never before seen ever. Since he sets out to find those changing his magnificent past, he takes it upon himself to create his descendants understand their ruler has returned.
