As a normal teenage girl, Kobeni Yonomori receives quite the surprise on her 16th birthday – a husband and a sister-in law she did not even realize she had. Due to an arrangement her late grandfather negotiated, Hakuya Mitsumine and his younger sister Mashiro have relocated from their home in the countryside to the Yonomori household to build a stronger bond and their newly-arrived family members.
Mikakunin in Shinkoukei explores Kobeni’s “love life” with Hakuya while she tries to adapt to the sudden changes that are forced on her. But, when some shocking revelations about the siblings come to the surface, Kobeni will find her life forever changed.
