Lonely high school pupil, Yukiteru Amano, spends his days composing a journal on his phone, while conversing with his two apparently fantastic friends Deus Ex Machina, who’s the god of space and time, also Murmur, the god of slave. Allowing himself to be a real thing, Deus grants Yukiteru that a”Random Diary,” which reveals exceptionally descriptive entries dependent on the long run and compels him into a bloody battle royale together with 11 other holders of similarly strong prospective diaries. Together with the last man standing designated as the god of space and time, Yukiteru must kill and find another 11 so as to survive. He reluctantly teams up with his obsessive stalker Yuno Gasai (who also owns such a journal ), and she takes it upon himself to make sure his security. But there is much more to the girl than meets the eye, as she may have other plans for her unrequited love…
