Rin has consumed a”time fruit”: a fruit in the protector tree Yggdrasil, which, when absorbed by a lady, makes her unable to perish. Rin’s immortality does not prevent others from attempting to kill her, of course; within her long life she’s been shot , cut , maimed, tortured, and endured innumerable other brutal deaths.
This time, it is different. The calendar year 1990 sparks the start of a set of events in Rin’s life which sends her spiraling toward her destiny.
Mnemosyne no more Musume-tachi crosses 65 years in Rin’s lifetime, through which she sees all those around her age while she remains unchanged. Greater forces are following her, and Rin should utilize every means at her disposal–or her following death might just be her final.
