Twelve years have passed since Char’s Rebellion (the second Neo Zeon War) ended. Even though “the Axis Shock” seemed to have indicated the future of humanity, the world remains in chaos with intermittent military conflicts continuing to break out. The Earth Federation government is corrupter than ever. Its leadership has not only increased Earth’s pollution but also implemented an inhuman policy called “Man Hunting”, which sees civilians exiled to outerspace.
Mafty Navue Erin, the leader of Mafty, an anti-Federation organization has taken a stand against corruption in the Earth Sphere. Mafty commits a series of terrorist acts, killing high ranking officials of the Federation government, but it has a certain amount of support from the people who are becoming more hostile to the Federation government.
Hathaway Noa is the man who calls himself “Mafty”, and runs this organization. He is the son of Bright Noa who was an officer in the Earth Federation Forces. Hathaway was a member of the forces that tried to stop Char’s Rebellion. He has gained firsthand knowledge about the ideologies and ideals of Char Aznable and Amuro Ray, and has now become a soldier to follow their lead. However, his destiny is changed when he meets Kenneth Sleg, a Federation Forces officer, and a young, mysterious beauty called Gigi Andalucia.
