When the very first ever Megalonia championship happened,”Gearless” Joe became its winner and known to all as a legendary fighter. But soon after, he dropped an exhibition game against the next winner and disappeared from the public eye.Seven years after, Joe goes by”Nomad” and maintains a very low profile, sometimes fighting in a couple of underground games to get by. He’s haunted by hallucinations and depends on a pair of painkillers to purify his thoughts.During a game, Joe wins from a competition, Chief, that purposefully loses for a few excess cash from players. Subsequently, Joe finds that Chief is from a community of immigrants known as the Casa. Chief is slowly hoping to make enough cash to purchase the property where they reside illegally.
